The stunning blue-green colored Banknote of one dollar has a dimension of 125mm by 63mm high. The note features the text, ‘Singapore – Singapura’. The 1 dollar note belongs to the Ship banknote series and features a sha chuan traditional sailing ship. On the reverse side is a satellite dish station. The Financial Authority of Singapore started issuing these 1 Singapore Dollar banknotes in 1987. This series of notes were withdrawn from circulation in 1999.
