Pierre Curie was a French Physicist; he was the pioneer of Crystallography, magnetism, Piezoelectricity, and radioactivity. He was one of the founding fathers of modern physics and is best known for being a pioneer in radioactive studies.Pierre Curie received a Noble Prize for Physics in the year 1903 CE. He and his wife Marie Curie discovered radium and polonium in their investigation of radioactivity. Since childhood, Pierre Curie develops an aptitude for mathematics and geometry. He received much of his early education at home, where he showed an interest in mathematics.
This commemorative stamp was issued by Togo in the year 2019 to commemorate him and his work.
