Stephen Grover Cleveland was an American lawyer and politician; he served the United States of America as 22nd and 24th President from 1885 to 1889 and 1893 to 1897. He was the only president of the United States of America to serve two non-consecutive terms in office. This means that they won the presidential election for one term, then lost the next election, and again come back to win again in the next following election. He has won the presidential election of 1884 and 1892; but had lost the election of 1888 to his Republican foe, Benjamin Harrison.Grover Cleveland won the presidential election three times, 1884, 1888, and 1862. He also won two Democrats to be elected president during the era of Republican political domination dating from 1861 to 1933. He was one of the truly honest and principled politicians of the Gilded Age.
