Several rare coins worth $300,000 were stolen on June 8th from a residence at the 1600 block of Camelot Drive as per official reports. Two suspects were trying to sell the coins they stole at the Long Beach Coin, Currency, Stamp & Sports Collectible Show last Friday. They were arrested soon after the vendor identified that they were selling the reported stolen coins.

The Long Beach police was called when they tried to escape, but were held by the security guards. The suspects had almost half of the stolen coins with them. After further investigations, the remaining coins were found in their abandoned vehicle.

Officials state that the coin community is tightly knit and each one in the circle is intimated about thefts like these. The coin dealer was vigilant enough to identify the coins and report the same.
