Cherrystone hosted ‘rare stamp and postal history of the world' auction in 2018; it featured some 1547 lots of different collators, estates and dealers. The main attraction of this grand scale was the Soviet Air Post ‘Wide 5’ stamp, it was offered for the whopping price of 23,000 dollars.This Soviet stamp is listed among the 25 specimens of the unique Soviet Union stamp issued in 1924. These stamps were never issued into circulation. This stamp depicts the attractive Fokker F-111 in flight. This plane is high-winged, single engine monoplane use for the air transport only for 5 passengers.
