Indo-Bangla Friendship Jubilee on Stamp

The year 2021 is the year of celebrating the Golden Jubilee of friendship between two neighboring countries i.e. India and Bangladesh.Though being a part of one nation, Bangladesh separated from India in 1947 as East Pakistan. However, it was due to the interference and support of India, Bangladesh became an independent country with its own identity since 1970. Since then, Bangladesh and India enjoy relation of friendship and development. The 50 years of close friendship are being celebrated with the release of a special commemorative stamp.
The stamp issued in the March month of this year comes with the denomination of 5 rupees and depicts two important monuments of both countries. The stamp depicts on the left side, the National War Memorial, Delhi, and on the right the stamp depicts the Jyoti Smriti Soudho or the National Martyrs’ Memorial near Dhaka.
This stamp is a reminder of the values of armed forces of the countries, their bravery and sacrifice along with the spirit of patriotism of the countrymen.
