Triglav Mountains on Slovenian Banknote

Slovenia is located in Central and Southeast Europe touching the Alps and bordering the Mediterranean Sea. Its highest peak is Triglav i.e. 2,864 m or 9,396 ft. Slovenia term is a combination of Slavonia, Slovakia, and Slavia.

The Bank of Slovenia issued Slovenian Tolar banknotes issued 1 Slovenian Tolar banknote of Triglav mountain series. They are part of the Slovenian Tolar banknotes series. The Bank of Slovenia started issuing these 1 Slovenian Tolar banknotes in 1991. They were withdrawn from circulation in 1992.

This yellow-colored Slovenian Tolar banknote has an illustration of the Triglav Mountains. The words ‘Republika Slovenija’ is printed on the note.
