Ibrahim Shah Gold Dinar Sold For INR 2,25,000

The Kashmir Sultanate was formed by Shah Mir, who was appointed as a minister in the court of the Hindu king. After the death of the Hindu king, he married the widow of the Hindu king and sat on the throne of Kashmir Sultanate with the title of Shams-ud-din in the year 1339 CE. All the rulers of the Kashmir Sultanate tried to maintain peace, prosperity, communal, harmony.

Ibrahim Shah was the ruler of Kashmir Sultanate, he ruled Kashmir Sultanate from 1528 CE to 1529 CE. After sitting on the throne Kashmir Sultanate he issued coins in gold, silver, and copper.

This gold dinar was issued by Ibrahim Shah during his rule in Kashmir Sultanate. This gold dinar is listed for INR 2,20,000 in an auction of Todywalla which was held in Mumbai on 24th April 2009.
