Nasir-ud-Daula Gold Mohur sold for INR 52,500

Nasir-ud-Daula was the Nizam of Hyderabad, he was the elder son of Asaf Jah III, and he sat on the throne of Hyderabad in the year 1829 and ruled it until 1857.This gold mohur was issued by Nasir-ud-Daula during the 6th year of his reign in the Hijri year 1258. The weight of this gold mohur is around 11.1g and it was issued from the mint Farkhanda Bunyad Hyderabad. The obverse of this coin is inscribed with the name and title of Mughal Emperor Bahadur Shah II. The reverse of this coin is inscribed with the mint name.
This gold mohur was sold for INR 52,500 in an electronic auction of Todywalla that was held on 14th March 2021.
