Johannes Kelper was a German astronomer, mathematician, and astrologer. He was the most significant representative of the so-called Scientific Revolution of the 16th and 17th centuries. He is best known for the laws of planetary motion that he developed, which were the foundations of Newton’s theories about gravity. Kepler was also a well-regarded investor. He invented eyeglasses, Kepler Telescope, Rudolphine Tables, Astronomia Nova, and Log Books.Johannes Kepler had lived in an era where there was no clear distinction between astronomy and astrology, but there was a strong division between astronomy and physics. He had introduced three major laws of Planetary, they are:-
1. The planets move in elliptical orbits with the Sun at one focus.
2. The time necessary to traverse any arc of a planetary orbit is proportional to the area of the sector between the central body and that arc (the “area law”).
3. There is an exact relationship between the squares of the planets’ periodic times and the cubes of the radii of their orbits (the “harmonic law”).
