In 2018 Schuyler J. Rumsey organised an auction, this sale featured a wide variety of United States stamp and Postal history-related specimens. The spotlight of this remarkable sale was the 1920 2cent deep rose stamp, there are only 40 records of this 20th-century rarity. This stamp was the highest grade specimen which bought enormous profit to this sale.

According to the auction house, this stamp is ‘Intense colour on bright white paper, enormous jumbo margin all around, Schermack perforations completely intact at left and showing a small part of adjoining stamp at left, cancel leaves most of the design clearly visible.
