Covid Warriors Commemorated on Indian Stamps

Novel Coronavirus was discovered during the end of the year 2019 and labelled Covid-19. However, the world felt the staggering impact of the virus in the year 2020. In the last 6 months, we have witnessed devastating effects of the Pandemic including deaths, lockdown, economy crash etc.During the Pandemic of Covid-19, some superheroes worked non-stop to ensure trouble-free life of the citizens. Known as the Covid Warriors, these frontline workers have been honoured on 4 stamps of India. A set of 4 stamps, a miniature sheet, a First Day Cover (FDC) and a brochure on "Salute to COVID-19 Warriors" has been released on 24.12.2020.
The stamps were denominated with Rs.10 and depict doctor, postal workers, police and cleaners.
