Not Just Humans, Bacteria Affects Banknotes Too!
2016-06-13 Mon
Are you a hygiene freak? Then you better wash your hands after touching your money! It has been found that almost 94% of the total paper money is contaminated with bacteria. A single banknote undergoes long travels exchanging hands and touring the many cities and towns. In these exchanges, the notes tend to get affected by viruses and bacteria.
Though not all bacteria are hazardous to human beings, some might be. The flu virus, which can normally survive outside the human body for a period of 48 hours, can survive on a banknote for over 10 days!
Also, more than 90% of the notes are found to be carrying traces of drugs!
Well..Health is Wealth, but surely Wealth is NOT Health!
