Henry III of England; is also known as Henry of Winchester, was the king of England, Lord of Ireland, and Duke of Aquitaine from 1916 until his death. The reign of King Henry III lasted for fifty-six years but not without political instability and hurdles.

Henry III; was the elder son of King John of England and Isabella of Angouleme; Henry III sat on the throne when he was nine years old, after the death of his father. His father died in the middle of the First Baron’s War (1215-1217), which cause the king not to honour the promises set out in the Magna Carta of June 1215 CE. During his time Monarchy was under Magana Carta. The Governance and Kingship were tied to it and the barons in parliament ruled the country. King Henry III and Baron Simon de Montfort became the biggest foes.
