On 13th August, the Communist government of German Government Republic (GDR) build barbed wire and concrete “Antifascistischer Schutzwall,” or “antifascist bulwark,” between East and West Berlin. The Berlin wall divided physically and ideologically of Berlin from 1961 to 1989. The purpose of this Berlin was to keep Western ‘Fascist’ away from entering East Germany and undermining the social state.In the year 1989, when East German Communist Party announced that the members of GDR are allowed to cross the border. The crowd gather to cross the border, some cross the border freely to flee into West Berlin, while others brought hammers and pick and began to chip away at the wall itself. The opening of the Berlin Wall is considered one of the most powerful and enduring symbols of the Cold War.
