2016-06-07 Tue

Whitman Publishing is going to release its first three volumes of books in a new series named Search & Save. The books cater to new as well as intermediate hobbyists by explaining concepts in a fun way. Each book costs $9.95. The first three books talk about Lincoln cents, nickels, and State quarters.

The special Coin Album page has protective plastic slides to hold the coins firmly and showcase the obverse and reverse. The book helps readers to not just learn about coins but also simultaneously start collecting coins.

The first book speaks about the life of Abraham Lincoln through a colourful depiction along with information about the Wheat cent, the Memorial cent, Bicentennial cents of 2009, the Union Shield cent, and other Lincoln coins and collectibles. A final chapter describes how to collect Lincoln cents, and the book’s album page has provisions to place 11 coins, allowing the reader to collect a favourite design from each of the years of issue which can be easily collected from pocket change and by searching bank rolls.

The other two other books are named as Search & Save: Nickels—150 Years of United States Five-Cent Coins, 1866 to 2016 and Beyond and Search & Save: State Quarters—Including the District of Columbia and U.S. Territories.

More editions will be released in November 2016.
