The Swiss Mickey Mouse, Globi is illustrated on the stamp issued by Swiss Post. Globi is one of the most famous cartoon characters in Swiss-Germen part of Switzerland. He first appears in 1932. Swiss Post issued two stamps featuring this cute parrot. To be specific, the stamp shows the cover of Globi edition that appears in 2020 aspiring and teaching children.

Globi is particularly popular in German-speaking Switzerland and brings together young and old. Everyone can recount their own Globi adventures has explored a new world with Globi. Swiss post has already issued Globi special stamp in 1997 to mark the ‘ Globi bei der’ Post’ (Globi at post Office) edition. The stamp was a huge success and sold more than 80,000 copies.
