Silver Rupee of Bhim Singh of Princely State Jodhpur

Jodhpur was a Princely State during the British rule in India; it is the second-largest city in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Historically, this princely state has been the capital of the kingdom of Marwar; today Marwar is a part of Rajasthan.Bhim Singh was the ruler of Princely State Jodhpur. The rule of Bhim Singh is considered as the series of succession with his uncles and cousins. He seized Mehrangarh and declare himself as the king of Jodhpur. But, soon he surrenders himself and got himself to his personal Jagir at Sawana. Very soon he regains his army and seized the fort and proclaimed himself ruler for the second time.
This silver rupee was issued by king Bhim Sing from the mint Nagaur Dar ul-Barkat during his rule in Princely State Jodhpur. The weight of this coin is around 10.9g and he issued this coin in the name of Mughal Emperor Shah Alam II. The obverse of this coin is inscribed with the name and title of Mughal Emperor Shah Alam II. The reverse of this coin is inscribed with the mint name.
