The United States of America had issued this commemorative coin with the theme of Native America in the year 2016. The United States of America started issuing such coins since the year 2009; they issued such coin to celebrate the important contribution made by Indian tribes and individual Native Americans to the history and development of the United States.This commemorative coin was issued by the United States of America to commemorate the contribution of the Native American Code Talkers in World War I and World War II. The obverse of this coin depicts retains the central figure of the 'Sacagawea' design first produced in 2000. The reverse side of this coin depicts two helmets- one used in WW I and the other helmets used in WW II. Behind the helmets are two feathers that form a "V," symbolizing victory, unity, and the important role that the code talkers played in both world wars.
