Jokowi-Amin Stamp Marks 75th Independence Day of Indonesia

The Communication and Informatics Ministry virtually launched a new se-tenant stamp as part of the commemoration of Indonesia's 75th Independence Anniversary. Indonesia celebrates its Independence Day on 17th August. On this day in 1945, Indonesia’s proclamation of independence officially set the self-declared nation on a path to sovereignty.On the occasion of the 75th Anniversary of the country, Indonesia Post issued a four new series of stamps on 19th August 2020. One of the series launched was the series of Indonesian President Joko Widodo and Indonesian Vice President Ma'ruf Amin. Meanwhile, the other three series of stamps are the 75 years series of Independent Indonesia, the Covid-19 Prevention series, and the Famous Music Group Artist series.
The se-tenant pair comes with the value of 10,000 Indonesian rupiahs and depicts portraits of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and Vice President Ma'ruf Amin. Visit philamart to view and purchase variety of stamps from all over the world.
