Picasso Painting: Woman with a Dog
2020-08-05 Wed
Picasso broke the traditional stereotype not just in the forms of art but also in its economy, its operation, and it’s aesthetic. Pablo Picasso was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, and theatre designer who spent most of his adult life in France.‘Woman with a Dog’ is explicitly revolution. It was an aesthetic movement of compensated imbalance of two static forms. The impression the image viewer perceived is more like a snapshot or an impression of concealed movement.
The painting is made in Cubism form. It should have retained the illusion of movement after depicting the illusion of depth where each constitutes a different aspect of the illusion of reality. Cubist basic principles indicate the painter to depict objects in a "flat, colored architecture," not as the viewer sees them but as they are made.
In 1993, Antigua and Barbuda issued a miniature sheet of Pablo Picasso’s 1973 painting- Women with a Dog.
