People of all ages are always fascinated to know more about the extinct creature, Dinosaur. And hence, Angola issued the first series of varieties of Dinosaurs on 28th December 1998.

A paleontologist Sir Richard Owen termed Dinosauria which is referred to as a distinct tribe or sub-order of Saurian Reptiles.

Dinosaurs are a diverse group of reptiles. The calculated period of Dinosaurs is 243 and 233.23 million years ago. The fossils show that most of them were terrestrial vertebrates and there is evidence of birds form Dinosaurs. Besides the vertebrates group, there were perciform fish too.

It has become a major attraction at museums around the world due to its giant size. The large size, the monstrous look has ensured dinosaur regular appearance in best-selling books and films. This resulted in remarkable funding for dinosaur science, and new discoveries are regularly covered by the media. One such example is of Jurassic Park science fiction adventure film which earned attention globally.
