2020-05-30 Sat
The Zero Euro is a souvenir banknote with authorized printing by the European Central Bank (ECB) and is on queue to be popular in the 2018 banknote collector markets. It is originated from France in 2015 when Richard Faille decided to create euros that promote tourism. On the obverse side of the banknote is Jeanne d’Arc, Orleans maiden – the national heroine of France, one of the commanders of the French troops in the Hundred Years War. Having been captured by the Burgundians, it was transferred to the British, condemned as a heretic, and burned at the stake.
The zero-euro backside depicts the best-known European architecture and art objects: Brandenburg Gate, Big Ben, Eiffel Tower, Colosseum, Sagrada Familia, Manneken Pis, and Mona Lisa.
