Robert A Siegel auction is offering philatelic beauties from the ‘Edward Morton collection of Outstanding Quality U.S. Stamps’ on April 8-9, 2020. This lot used stamps from 1845 through the 1901 Pan-American issues.Thought the 1890 issue, many stamps of parallel representation in original gum condition are offered by the auction. The star of this sale is 1c blue, Ty. I, it is offered by the auction house for 150,000 US dollars.
This lot is described by the auction house as ‘ Huge margin to barley touched at the bottom including large sheet margin at the top with significant parts of adjoining stamps at sides both of which are Type Ib(5A).’
