Nature’s beauty illustrated by Greenland post

The fourth stamp of the series Environment in Greenland is issued the Greenland Post. This set consists set of two stamps both of which are designed by the talented Sissi Moller, she has designed eight stamps in total. This philatelic issue is focused on the Greenlandic environment.The first stamp depicts the inspiration for the famous recycling sign used around the world. This sign is used by the artist to convey the story, it means to portray the view on sustainability. The recycling image depicts harpoon, seal, and Ulo which local tools used for scraping skin. This ties it in with the sustainable practice of seal- hunting.
The second stamp depicts an overall design of the light bulb with the ocean depicts in the lower part of the bulb and an iceberg against the sky in the top bulb. The tail fin of a whale is clearly visible in the ocean.
