Philippine Post issued a set of two stamps to commemorate the year of Rat to welcome the Chinese New year also known as the spring festival on lunar New Year. It is supposed o be the great festival in China with 7 days long holiday. The postal Service created a yellow and peach-colored stamp with the drawing of an adorable white rat. It is designed by graphic artist Rodine C. Teodoro.Chinese Zodiac cycle is the cycle of 12 years each represents a particular animal. First, comes the Rat then Ox, Tiger, rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig. The rat is said to the most courage of all the zodiac animals.
