James Buchanan’s Liberty 10 Dollars Coin

James Buchanan was the 15th president of the United States of America; he served his country as the president from 1857 to 1861. He had also served his country as a member of the Democratic Party, Secretary of State and both house of U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania before becoming President.According to the presidential $1 Coin Act of 2005 has a provision to provide continuity of the First Spouse Gold Coin Program during those times in which a president served without a first spouse. The president served the country without the spouse will be featured a design emblematic of Liberty on its obverse.
The obverse of this coin bust of liberty facing towards left and the reverse of this coin depicts the future President as a boy working as a bookkeeper in his family's small country store.
