The David Feldman auction series held from 9th to 13th December 2019 produced some spectacular results. In this auction over the span of five days, 4,250 lots went under the bidding hammer and it said to one of the intense bidding competition from all over the globe. According to the auction house on of the incredible lots that were present during this sale was the 1860 Trinacria 1/2t Blue, the ‘Caspary’ used pair that managed to fetch EUR 37,500 roughly 41,905 US dollars.

This used pair of 1860 Trinacria is said to be a rarity from the very depth of the Italian and Classic philately world. The auction house described the lots as ‘1860 trinacria 1/2t Blue, the ‘Caspary’ used to pair with enormous margin showing part of neighboring stamp at right and fresh intense color.
