Ohio Rare Coin Sales Tax Exemption Bill May be Restored

Sales tax exemption on rare coins in Ohio would be restored as per an official government bill which is under reconsideration.A man had stolen $50 million from a rare coin fund which was raised for the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation. Post that event, the exemption was eliminated. The convict is now serving an 18-year prison term.
The collectible coin industry has raised its voice for the exemption to be restored.
The full House was already cleared by a similar measure.
