Prime Minister released new coin to Commemorate 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev

On the occasion of the 550th anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released a special coin. This coin was released on the inauguration of the cross-border pathway from Kartarpur Sahib Corridor to visit Gurdwara Darbar Sahib. Kartarpur Sahib is a holy place where Guru Nanak Dev spent the last 18 years of his life.Along with the special coin, a miniature sheet with a set of five stamps were also issued to commemorate this event. This inauguration also is a stepping stone for the peace agreement between the Indian and Pakistan due to similar cultural and traditional links.
