New Addition to Australian A-Z Coin Collection From A-Z, the coins feature images such as boomerangs, cricket sets, lamingtons and a pair of pluggers.

They are a part of the 26 $1 coin designs developed by Australia Post and the Royal Australian Mint for the Great Aussie Coin Hunt which was launched last week.

In a staggered release, six designs will be distributed to Australia Post offices every Monday until October 21, where people have the opportunity to collect them by making a purchase and receiving them in their change.

Australia Post executive general manager consumer and community Nicole Sheffield said collecting items such as coins, stamps and shells was a proud Aussie tradition.
