In Aurdru both women and men wear dark coloured outdoor clothes decorated with red strings. The caps had a high sharp peak and lace whereas the collars were embroidered and had laces.

On the other hand, in Tostamaa, various decorative ribbons were sewn to the lower edge of the skirt. Red slantwise strips on the chest are characteristic for Tostamaa.

The Estonia post features these long forgotten costumes on a set of postage stamps. The stamps come with the value of €0.65 for the stamp featuring Audru Costumes whereas €1.50 for the stamp featuring the costumes of Tostamaa.
