Bengal Sultan-Nasir Al-Din Mahmud I's Silver Tanka

Nasir Al-Din Mahmud I was the sultan of Bengal Sultanate, he sat on the throne of Bengal Sultanate in the year 1435 CE and ruled it till 1459 CE. He was the descendant of Shamsuddin Ilyas Shah.After sitting on the throne of Bengal Sultanate Nasir Al-Din Mahmud I issued coins in various types and varieties. Most of the coins issued by him as normal inscription but his coins also have images with some numbers.
This silver tanka issued was issued by Nasir-Al-Din Mahmud I from the mint Dar al-Darb weighs around 10.78g. The obverse of this coin is inscribed as ‘Nasir Shah in 4 Circles; Al-Sultan In 3 Circles’. The reverse of this coin is inscribed as ‘Ghawth Al-Islam Wa 'L Muslimin’.
