Farrukhabad is a city situated in the Indian States of Uttar Pradesh. Currently, this city is situated in the Kannauj district.The History of Farrukhabad is culturally rich; it is defined as traditions of Ganga-Jamuni tahzeeb which was combined with the aspects of Hindu and Muslim cultural practices, rituals, folk, and linguistic traditions. This city was founded by Nawab Mohammad Khan Bangash in the year 1714 CE and it was named after Mughal ruler Farrukhsiyar. Farrukhabad had been a flourishing center for commerce and industry.
This silver rupee was issued by Mughal ruler Farrukhsiyar during 7th year of his reign from the mint Farrukhabad.
