Connecticut is one of the states of the United States of America, it is southernmost state situated in the New England region of the United States of America. According to the result of the census of 2010, the state has the highest per-capita income, Human Development Index and median household income in the United States of America. State Connecticut is bordered by Rhode Island to the east, Massachusetts to the north, New York to the west and Long Island to the south. The state got it's after Connecticut River which approximately bisects the state.State Connecticut is the third smallest state by area, amongst the 50 states of the United States of America it is 29th most populous and fourth densely populated state of the United States of America. The United States of America had issued a commemorative quarter dollar with the theme of state Connecticut in the year 1999. This quarter dollar is the fifth coin released in the year 1999 and over it is also a fifth coin release in 50 State Quarters Program. The reverse of this coin depicts Charter Oak tree which proved to be a good hiding place for the state's original Constitution.
