Junagadh Copper Dhinglo listed For INR 28,000

Junagadh was a Princely State during the British rule in India, Today; it is situated in western states of Gujarat. The founder of this dynasty was Muhammad Sher Khan Bahi, it was ruled by Muslim Babi and Babai dynasty.The Junagadh State became a Mughal dependency during the rule of Mughal Emperor Akbar. Later on, the Mughal Empire started to collapse Babis got involved in a conflict with the Gaekwad dynasty of the Maratha Confederacy over the control of Gujarat.
This copper Dhinglo was issued by Mahabat Khan III, with the name of Muzaffar Shah III. Mahabat Khan III was the last ruling Nawab of Princely State Junagadh, he ruled Junagadh from 1911 CE till 1948 CE. This Copper Dhinglo which weighs around 13.32g is listed for INR 28,000 in the upcoming auction of Classical Numismatic Gallery which will be held in Mumbai on 19th April 2019.
