Coral Reef Stamps of USA

2019-02-11 Mon

On 29th March, the USPS is going to release four non-denominated Coral Reefs postcard-rate stamps in St. Louis, Mo. On 29th and 31st March, St. Louis Stamp Expo will be organised, which is why the first-day postmark will feature the city’s name. As of now, no official ceremony has been planned. The stamps might be released in a pane of 20 and a coil roll of 100.

Designed by Tyler under Art director Kessler, each stamp depicts unique types of stony coral along with related reef fishes. One stamp shows elkhorn coral and French angelfish, the second one shows brain coral and a spotted moray eel, the next one depicts staghorn coral and blue-striped grunts, and the last one features pillar coral with a coney grouper and neon gobies.
