G&D Currency Technology launched a banknote processing system named new BPS C2 which won the German Design Award 2018 for Excellent Product Design. The device is capable of counting, sorting, authenticating, or reading serial numbers from banknotes at a consistent yet high speed and a throughput of 1,050 banknotes per minute. The banknotes are sorted according to the highest standards of fitness for circulation.
