On December 15 2015, Central Bank of Russia released a unique coin to celebrate the first credit card in the country. The coin is a Proof .925 fine silver, non–circulating legal tender shaped like a credit card. With a face value of 3 Rubles, the coin weighs 31.1 grams and measures 51 mm x 32 mm and has a mintage of 5000 pieces only.

The obverse depicts an image of the state coat of arms of the Russian Federation. Inscriptions in Russian translating to 'Russian Federation' and 'Bank of Russia' along with symbols indicating the metal, purity, and mint mark of St. Petersburg Mint are present on the obverse. The reverse is a reproduction of a credit card with a 16–digit account number, gold accents, an apparent hologram of the Ruble Symbol which mimics the security features of an actual credit card, and an inscription in Russian translating to 'Issue of first payment card NSPK'.
