H. M. Patel was an Indian civil servant, who served as the Finance Minister and later Home Minister of India. He wrote two books: ‘Rites of Passage: A Civil Servant Remembers’ and ‘The First Flush of Freedom: Recollections and Reflections’.
This is a golden opportunity to start or expand the Indian note collection with this valuable note. Here, we present 1 Rupee note of the frozen year 1951 bearing the signature of H. M. Patel. Serial number and prefix letters (P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z) may vary from image.
The note is available in just rupees One thousand and eleven hundred only. The condition of the note is very fine. This is the only Indian currency note which has the portrait of a one rupee coin.
