Alexander III of Macedon, popularly known as Alexander the Great, was the king of the ancient Greek kingdom of Macedon.

Macedonia was a small kingdom centred along the Aegean Sea on the northeastern part of the Greek Peninsula. Macedonia became the largest empire in the world during the reign of Alexander the Great in the 4th Century B.C.

King Alexander III was a Charismatic, ruthless, brilliant, and bloodthirsty ruler. He ruled Macedon for almost 13 years, and this 13 years of reign changed the history of both Europe and Asia. He sat on the throne after the assassination of his father at the age of 20. He stretched his rule from Greece to north-western India. He was undefeated in battle and widely considered to be one of history's most successful military commanders.
