£250,000 Out of Peter Pan Coins

Manx coins highlighting characters from the Peter Pan stories have brought up £250,000 for a youngsters' emergency clinic.The arrangement of six 50p pieces was printed to check the 90th commemoration of youngsters' creator JM Barrie giving his eminences to Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) in London.
The coins highlight unmistakable characters close by adages.
The Treasury's Bill Henderson said it was "a benefit" to pay tribute to the "radiant work" of the medical clinic.
The coins went into the general course on the island in July this year, with the extent of the estimation of dedicatory sets given as a gift.
A play about the experiences of a kid who could fly and never grow up was composed by Barrie in 1904, trailed by a novel highlighting a similar character in 1911.
The copyright for the two was given to GOSH in 1929.
