2019-11-04 Mon
In November 2016, the National Bank of Georgia released a newly re-designed series of banknotes. The last part of this series will be the 10-lari banknote denomination. The 10-lari banknote is dated 2019 and measures 127 by 64 millimeters with prevalently blue shading and organizing underprints. The refreshed security highlights include:
Holographic application: Placed to one side of Tsereteli's representation is a multi-dimensional image vertically structured and incorporates pictures of his own picture, the division in numerals, the money image of the lari, a swallow, a guide of Georgia, and miniaturized scale content.
Watermark: Situated to one side field is a watermark that delineates Tsereteli's representation, the division in numerals, and the money image of the lari. This is all obvious when holding the banknote against straightforward light.
Vertical security string: The security string with see-through clear-content “10 ????” shows up windowed or fragmented on the back and is unmistakable as a consistent stripe against straightforward light. The string likewise moves in shading from green to purplish blue when tilted.
Idle picture application: The category numeral, which is arranged inside the left neckline of the coat worn by Tsereteli, is unmistakable when the banknote is tilted.
Radiant stripe: Placed on the back, a vertical glowing straightforward stripe containing the numerical division and stylized bloom petals is obvious on the outside of the banknote when tilted under conventional light.
