A special commemorative stamp ‘SANDAAN-celebrating 00 year of Philippine Cinema’ was introduced by Philippine Postal Corporation and the Film Development Council of Philippines to mark the 100 years of Cinema in the Philippines.

The stamp features the logo of SANDAAN on the ornamented and stylized movie ticket with date 1919 to 2019. The graphic designer of this stamp was Rodine Teodoro and it was presented by PHLPost Business Lines Manager Maximo Sta. In September 1919 the first-ever Philippines movie was born. It was silent movie earning around P90, 000 more than triple its production cost of P25, 000.
