Yesterday, Australia joined the fight against cancer and celebrated Daffodil Day in a special way. The country officially supports the Cancer Council Australia, which works dedicatedly towards attaining a cancer-free future. No Australian coin has been issued featuring Daffodils but the Royal Australian Mint had minted coins with a beautiful Floral Emblem in 2003. The collection featured the Royal Blue Bell which is the ACT’s floral emblem.
